Meet the Team

Hattie Schnepel

Founder

Hattie followed her ambition and left her childhood home in the Yorkshire Dales to train as a midwife in London. With over a decade of experience working at three NHS trusts as a midwife and in turn a labour ward co-ordinator, she has delivered hundreds of babies. The decision to move nearer family in rural Shropshire came a few years after giving birth to her own baby daughter; Hattie then wanted to embark on a new challenge and have a positive impact on families and their journeys to parenthood, which inspired her to create ‘My Baby Class’. Hattie’s friendly and fun approach brings life and laughter to your classes.

Knowledge, Competence & Confidence

Hattie’s new vision is to empower women through education and building the confidence necessary for a positive birthing experience. Hattie’s experience of caring for women and their families has demonstrated that high quality, evidence-based antenatal education is vital to a smooth transition from pregnancy to motherhood.
